Exeter River Lodge South Africa
Kruger National Park
A river runs through it !

The chance to stay in a Game Reserve is always a magical experience, and my visit to Exeter River Lodge in Sabi Sand was no exception. Located in one of the most diverse wilderness areas in Africa, this gracious lodge offers so much to do and see. Firstly the views are fantastic. I could watch the river roll slowly past from my luxurious suite, and in the afternoons I happily cooled off in one of the stunning private plunge pools.

And game viewing is of-course a must. Sabi Sand shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, so intimate viewings of the Big Five and rare animal sightings are definitely on the cards. I was even taken on an interpretative bush walk in which an armed ranger shared his vast knowledge on the amazing fauna and flora in the area. Absolutely wonderful, and definitely worth repeating again and again!
