Kaya Mawa Malawi
Lake Malawi
Life on the far side

Kaya Mawa is a sumptous and secluded hideaway on idyllic Likoma Island. My premium chalet has stunning views of Lake Malawi which I wake up to each morning from my gargantuan bed and enjoy from my sunken bath and private verandah. This tranquil and romantic spot soothes my busy mind, the rhythmic lapping of water and sounds of nature lulling the senses.

Home to some of the world's best fresh water diving, I'm looking forward to exploring this unbelievable underwater world - easy to do with the resort's excellently equipped dive centre and qualified instructors. For those wanting to get on rather than under Lake Malawi there's also a water sports centre offering sailing and water skiing lessons, kayaks, dinghies, paddle skies, two traditional dhos (sailing boats) and a 24ft Boston Whaler! Simple but scrumptious cuisine makes for relaxed and rewarding dining... what better way to end my active, adventure-packed day?
