You know when you go to stay in Richard Branson's private game reserve you're in for an adventure. And that's exactly what I got. Situated in Sabi Sabi on the border of the Kruger National Park, Ulusaba is spread over two lodges. I stayed at Rock Lodge, which has stunning views of the South African bush, and not too far away is Safari Lodge built on the banks of a dry riverbed. Ulusaba has some of the most qualified rangers and trackers, all working to make the experience of staying here a memorable one.
My suite was wonderfully luxurious, the cuisine predictably excellent, and the choice of activities seem endless. Obviously I did the obligatory game viewing which is always amazing, and for relaxation I indulged myself in one of the plunge pools, and of-course a visit to the Aroma Boma Spa for some rejuvenation. A winner? Definitely!
