The Robertson Small Hotel South Africa
Victorian chic

Located 90 minutes from Cape Town and most conveniently along the world's longest wine route, Route 62, this charming boutique hotel provided the perfect setting to enjoy two of my favourite things: Food and yes, great wine! Ten luxurious guest suites are ensconced within this Victorian Manor House and you'll be hard pressed not to fall in love with her old-world elegance and tranquil surroundings. Modern conveniences like internet and wi-fi are available, but let's face it; the real reason to come to a place like this is to escape!

So just relax and enjoy the two swimming pools, the cosy and intimate bar area and of-course the Reuben at the Robertson Restaurant. Here, I savoured truly delectable dishes and of-course there is wine to suit all palates. And when it's time to leave, well take comfort in the fact you're still on the world's longest wine route. I did!
