The Oyster Box South Africa
Back in time with style

Whenever I want to raise my spirits I very happily think of the Oyster Box Hotel. It's like stepping back in time. And having first opened its doors way back in 1947, it has now been very lovingly refurbished. Warm hospitality and gracious elegance are what I found within its walls and it remains unmatched. Beautiful architecture, lush gardens and the beautiful seaside setting evoke a colonial charm which I delighted in.

There are 86 different luxurious rooms, suites and villas to choose from and the dining experience, whether it was breakfast, lunch or supper, was always exceptional. As if that wasn't enough, I also spoiled myself at the Oyster Box Spa with a little spa therapy. It's not all lazing about though. You can try out hiking, surfing, riding, diving, and shopping if that's your thing. I'm more of a relaxing type. And I've found the perfect place to do just that!
