Renowned as a prime spot for game and bird viewing, Zambia's South Luangwa region is home to 60 species of mammals, over 400 bird species...and Sanctuary Puku Ridge Camp. This seven tent camp has the feel of intimate community I like. After all, the safari experience is as much about sharing your day's stories over moonlit mealtimes as it is going on game drives and walks. Having done both, there's lots to talk about! We've seen lions and leopards not too far from the camp, as well as buffalo and elephant (accompanied by our armed game scout, of course!)
Beautifully spacious, my tent is designed to leave no footprint on the land. The decor is African au natural, elegantly simple but with all the creature comforts, including a steaming hot tub, and outdoor shower stocked with luxuriant Africology products, and view deck overlooking the plains. A sight to behold!
